From Puja’s Heart
As a teacher, Puja believes that dancing is like reading; an essential part of life that can be achieved by those who persevere to learn and explore the infinite possibilities.
In Puja's ideal world, she would wish to create “an army of dancers”, showing to the world that nothing is more fulfilling than the joy you feel when you dance.
‘Sanskriti’ means ‘culture’. As the name suggests, Sanskriti Arts Ensemble exists to spread Indian culture and ethnicity through traditional and contemporary dance and music performances. Artistic Director, Puja Amin creates work that enriches contemporary dance by taking its full-bodied movement and infusing it with the complex expressions of South Asian Kathak Dance, Bollywood, and pure Indian folk dances.
